Since 1981, when the «Girolle®» was launched, sales of TÊTE DE MOINE have increased by an average of 65 tons each year. In the last
years production has almost doubled from 858 tons (in 1990) to 2'213 tons (in 2009). Roughly 50% of the cheese speciality is
exported.

Exports by geographical market
In 2009 1'324 tons of TÊTE DE MOINE were exported, 80% of which to Germany and France. Exports beyond the EU are of marginal
importance.
